You can't head the beautiful Maldives and not go for a dip! In my case it was multiple ocean swims per day, which required a whole lot of spf, and bunch of swimsuit options. I haven't really shared any of swim favourites on the blog before. To be honest, I never usually feel that comfortable putting myself out there in a bathing suit, but I figured of all the trips, this was the one to embrace it!
Here is my edit of swim go-to's... Ready to get salty:
Bec & Bridge
Gingham, frills, spots and a bunch of mix and match resort separates mean you can get creative with your look. I love the last bikini for something fun and feminine, but the first look (a ruched top with black swim bottoms) is definitely a beach favourite.
A selection of the perfect swim basics available in a range of chic colours which can also be mixed and matched. I love their new collection which also features their first print (a very chic spot) and a new one piece cut which I can't wait to get my hands on.
Spell & The Gypsy
Fun and colourful, Spell are a go-to for unique, bohemian prints. For all you monochrome lovers out there (myself included), they also have these broderie anglaise styles (pictured above) in both black and white.
Remember that fitted knit dress with the cut-out that Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman? 30 years later, Hunza G is back turning it's signature crinkle fabric into a whole lot of fun swimwear. I love the high cuts, frill bikinis and the flattering fabric.
Zulu & Zephyr
The ribbed bikinis by Zulu & Zephyr are a long time favourite... I have this classic cut in a few different colours, but the navy always gets a workout.
Solid & Striped
Solid & Striped's signature style sis arguably the Anne-Marie, a scoop neck one piece with a low cut back that comes in a range of colours and prints. I live in mine in the black & white gingham check, but they have also just released a collaborative collection with LA-based Staud that I'm in love with.
An Australian icon, and always one of the first places I look for new swimwear. This season I went for a simple striped bikini, but I also have my eye on this set which screams European summer!
You have probably seen those signature scalloped edges pop up in your Instagram feed... and with styles that are flattering, feminine and can double up as bodysuits for post-pool drinks, Marysia is a must in any summer holiday suitcase.
