Beauty Note: Crimson Eyes

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it might be time to experiment with your date-night beauty look.

We're crushing on red velvet, baby pinks and anything with a hint of sparkle. To help get you in the Valentine's mood, makeup artist Kristin Brett shares her tips for creating the perfect crimson eye, as seen here on dreamgirl Amelia Zadro.

For this look I have used Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp and Colourpop eyeshadow in Static.

Start out by curling your eye lashes. Once you have done that take a more dense, flat brush and start patting Colourpop eyeshadow in Static all over your eye lid. Try to keep the shadow below crease line. To do the same underneath the eye, take a medium sized bullet brush and blend shadow evenly leaving it more intense in the outer corner of the eye.

Now take your Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp eyeshadow palette. Tap your fluffy brush in the “enhance” shadow and blend out your crease. A fluffier brush gives a softer application and is perfect for blending.
