Road Trip: Kaufmann House

While I was planning my weekend getaway to Palm Springs back in April, I knew I wanted to try and see some of California's incredible mid-century modern architecture. Top of my list was Kaufmann House, a stunning building designed by Richard Neutra in 1946 which was just a short drive away from the ACE where we were staying.

This is one of the few homes that is still privately owned, and unfortunately while you can creep around and take a few photos outside, you can't go past the driveway. The exterior itself was incredible, and still well worth the visit if you can drive by, I for one am a little bit obsessed with the idea of having a house in Palm Springs (who wouldn't be!) and didn't mind being a roadside spectator. Head over here to see what the rest of the home looks like, the inside-outside feel and pool are nothing short of incredible.
