Embracing Longer Lengths: Part I

While current Sydney weather might have me feeling otherwise, it is technically, summer in two weeks. So while I have a few backup sweaters handy, I have started slowly rearranging my wardrobe to bring those resort-style pieces closer to the front.

One of the looks I was keen to try this season, is longer lengths in summery fabrications, I like the idea of still feeling quite 'dressed' even if it is 30 degrees out. My first attempt is this textured linen style by Lee Mathews, I love the raw edged panels and the high side splits - not only do these look good, but they provide a little extra ventilation! Add to that a skinny silk scarf (quickly becoming my favourite accessory), a pair of comfortable sandals and my trusty bucket bag, and I have a new outfit at the ready for when the temperature finally catches up with my state of mind.
